Good day and welcome to a webs tutorial. Today we are going to look at how to set up a Google account. Which you are going to need to do if you want to use add words or Google analytics. I am just going to show you very simply step by step how to do this. So, we are going to enter your email address into Google. Get a confirmation email and then, I will show you how to set up your first Google analytic account I want to do with the code the Google analytics.
This is the first steps, is to go to Google and let us type in new Google account. Go to this first link and very, very simple process. Okay, so we need to answer a email address and all let use new and our email address today. I need to choose the password at least 6 characters and you will notice that Google tells me how good or not that password is.
I just take that together wanted to remember the search history for this fictitious account. I have to enter this word verification here, read the terms and conditions and accept and Google is going to send me an email to confirm that I am who I say I am. So, this is the email that Google has sent to me. All I have to do is just to click to this link here and that will tell Google that I am actually who I say I am. That will take me to a page that says yup, you are done.
Now, the next thing I want to do is to go to Google analytics and sign in using my new account. So, we just need to log in using a new Google account and or from running. Now, the very first thing that Google is going to ask you to do to set a sign up button, another take is to a page where are going have to Google which website we want to track.
So, all this websites the example and I can use that as my default name. I am just going to make it slightly easier to rate but doing that to let which country where in, Australia and set the time zone and then continue. for some details about myself now that is not my real phone number and again the country is Australia now, we continue read the terms of the service that is great and your done. Its really that simple.
Now, Google is going to give some code, do not worry java script, HTML, all these strange name freak you out. All we have to do is highlight this code, right click and just copy and paste that into an email and send it to someone knows what to do with that. Send it to your IT guys, send it to your techies send it to your local gigs, send it to your marketing manager. whoever it is this that is going to do this for you. What I need to do is just add and says copy and paste this code into essentially every page on your website that you want to track.
Now, hopefully does what is include file or follower or a template that your website uses which will make it incredibly easy for you take a paper to do this. Let just a paste in one place and that then appears on every page on your website. So, do not leave and give you any hustle about it being hard to do on its odds to do lists is too long. I will get it next week. this is really, really simple for them to add to your website.
Until this is added, you will not to be tracking anything on your website so very important to diskette added as soon as possible because it is going to take a little while for you to stop receiving data on the website permanently 24 hours maybe a little bit longer.
