Joe: You know folks on a rainy day would not it be nice to be able to take and conserve some of that rain water for that dry day ahead, for the garden or the gardener. Let us talk to Dan, the water saver the man about doing just that. How are you doing Dan?
Dan: I am doing fine. Thanks Joe.
Joe: Now the water saver is a unique device. You invented it. What is it all about?
Dan: Well as to save rain water. For use in gardens primarily is the purpose of it.
Joe: Now it connects to the down pipe of the drum?
Dan: It connects to the down pipe and any type of down pipe, round ones or rectangular.
Joe: So it does not really matter. Now this, you have got two pipes coming out here, one that is lager than the other. Now the smaller one where does that go?
Dan: Well the smaller one is the one is the one that you connect the hose it and goes to whatever container you are using. You can use recycle barrels or you can use trashcans with lids.
Joe: Just like this recycle plastic barrel right here?
Dan: Just like this recycled one.
Joe: Okay and then the larger one, in the event of the, I guess the barrel being full. Overflows and then down the drain to goes.
Dan: When the barrel is full the back pressures and goes all down the regular system.
Joe: So back pressuring, meaning that water is like air. It will take the list line of resistance, so once it completely filled the barrel. Then the water will obviously fill back up in the little reservoir and overflow into the drain. Now you send a template along as well to cut out the down pipe.
Dan: Yes.
Joe: So therefore everything is included.
Dan: Everything, even the screws are included.
Joe: Now we have got one installed right here which is quite unique because this particular development was on to an ABS plastic pipe. Because it is going down into a drain system, but there are adaptable to pretty well anything two bites, three rectangular or round down pipe.
Dan: That is a really good example show of how flexible the system is. Well it is as simple as putting the barrel, centering it and putting the housing shell.
Joe: Now those cradles is going to be good and strong holding that barrel because that is a 45 galloon barrel.
Dan: That is raised for 450 pounds of water in there. That is right.
Joe: Then all you do is shoot the hose in the hole?
Dan: You are ready now to just turn these beget and gets some water going.
