Shalom. This video is about the Shabbat morning Kiddush after services before you have lunch or at the end of services, some synagogues like ours do and this is a passage from the Torah. It is also from the Shabbat Morning Amida and it is used as the main part of Kiddush and it says basically, the children of Israel shall observe Shabbat throughout their generations. It is between me and the children of Israel that on six days, God made the heavens and the earth, the seventh day, God rested.

Which means, it is between me and the children of Israel, the sign forever, then you sing.

And then the next verse is
[Singing]
That line means, because on six days Shehshiamim Asha arenai God made athas shamime, the Heavens and the Earth. Then the final verse is four words, ubayama ashbii, the seventh day. Shabbat fainafash garb, God you should rest.

Those actual four words, actually means on the seventh day, God ceased from work and rested but surviving us of course to rest. Then, there is a longer passage from the Ten Commandments about how you should rest which some people say, some do not and then you say

The Brokha, you lift up the wine or grape juice

So, that is the Shabbat Morning Kiddush.
