Hillary: This is Hillary with iApplicate, today's app ShamanWord released by Leitmotiv Lab. Shaman word is word guessing mayhem. Sort of like a digital charades or cranium for the iPhone. Multiple players split up into different teams and one prompter from each team is tasked to describing specific Shaman words without using any of the taboo words.
Prompters can skip vocabulary, they're having a hard time describing like any other word or phrase guessing game ShamanWord is not anything we haven't seen before, it is based on ancient Polynesian shawline game though which are its historic ground points.
Tech-Novelty gets a six out of ten. No low time to speak up but make sure new players be the directions before jumping into the action. The controls are barebones simple and there is even a continue game feature. Dexterity gets a seven out of ten. The number of tribes, victory point amounts, round durations and skiable word amounts are all customizable before starting a new game. This app even has sound and animation. Form & Function gets an eight out of ten. This is a great party games since its best suited for up to 4 teams within an infinite amount of players on each.
With over 600 shaman words and thousands more taboo word combinations the competition will stay fresh. Buy ability gets a seven out of ten. This app is perfect for ancient Shamans and word game partiers.
