So now I am going to show you a customized project list taking what we know about issues. The issues list and some other fields on the issues form. And adding them to the project task form, this way I can track additional information. Such as, let us go ahead and open one of this out. I am going to go ahead and add at this item.
Now I can have notes on here that are updated every time somebody goes in and updates this project, whether it be me, or whether it be somebody else that is working on this project with me. And it will track who made changes and what time they get. And what or was it they did on this project on this day. So that is really nice. I can also relate other project task to this task, this project task. So let me go ahead and add now if I wanted to.
So by adding those two fields that really beats up the functionality of this project task list, I can now relate it to another project task and I can keep tract of who did what and when to this project, as this project as this project goes along down its life. And another field that I added was related company field. Now this is the drop down look up field that I have got pointing to the contact list in this three-point side. So this allows me to relate projects to the companies that I have tracked in my share point side. So couple of extra things that are in here, so here is what I did on this project today.
I can also see that now projects have a related company to them if I wanted to filter on that and just see the project tasks that are for Microsoft. I could easily do that with the quick filter functionality right in here. So again, it makes it very nice. Clear filter. So as you can see, just by adding a couple of extra fields onto this project form really enhance the functionality of it and it did not take me long at all to do, just a few minutes. And when we get into customizing forms, I will show you exactly how I went ahead and customize this form so you too can really be fop or trick share point to better suit your needs and to work with the information that you work with.
