The drink I am going to show you now is actually a non-alcoholic drink. It is great for kids, when kids come in through a restaurant oftentimes their parents would be ordering a cocktail and they end up ordering a kiddie cocktail for the little ones.
All right, so Shirley Temple for you young people who do not know who Shirley Temple was or is, she is still alive and she was a famous little girl actress back in the 30s who was the number one Hollywood star for many, many years. She would make all these movies with the big people but she was a tremendous actress. She used to sing and dance.
So hey, little a Hollywood history for you so we are going to make a Shirley Temple. We are just going to use a rock glass or a highball glass, fill it with ice then what we are going to do is reduce kind a take some of our sweet grenadine syrup which is non-alcoholic made from pomegranates. Put about a half ounce in there and then what we are going to do is add some lemon lime soda all right 7up whatever you have. Put a sip stick in it just like so, let the little kids play with it and let us see what else we have here. We will put a little cherry in it so they can have a little bit to snack on.
Now today this drink goes by a lot of different names sometimes they call it the Hulk, the Spiderman, the Mickey Mouse, the Donald Duck whenever you hear any of those Disney names or any of those cartoon names you got a pretty good guess that is probably one of the kiddie drinks which is simply hey, grenadine syrup and 7up and you are all set. So there you go Shirley Temple non-alcoholic for the kids.
