Should it be Legal for Woman to Go Topless in Public?
Jennifer: Okay. We are going to take a little bit of a different twist today because we posted an article on askdanandjennifer.com that has created quite stir and lots of controversy. So, we decided we would bring this question to you. So, here is the question. Should women be allowed to show their breast in public? Can we go topless? Men can do it, can women do it?
Why Cannot We Both Be Topless?
One of the comments that we have got from a girl, was set the double standard that allows the man to jog down the street topless and hairy with boobs bigger than mine. She claims that sex is the sexual discrimination. I do not know, do you agree that we are asking today. And, also from my perspective, it maybe in bad taste but that does not mean it should be illegal, you know. If you want to see breast it is a matter of preference or not.
Dan: Exactly, and these laws are based in religious preferences from years and years back.
Jennifer: In the Victorian ages.
Dan: Yes, I mean, really. Why is it illegal. Why would you be taken to jail for public indecency or whatever they may call in your area because the woman shows her breast in public. That make no sense. I mean, laws based on religion like that have really no place in our society today or do they?
Jennifer: I do not know, or do they? That is the question.
Dan: Because you know, you can choose your own religion. Whatever the heck you wanted to be, you can choose your own religion go to your own church, practice whenever or wherever you want as long you do not hurt someone else, your freedom over religion to believe whatever you will. The problem comes when you take this religion, you try to make lost everybody else has fall your religion. Remember the crusades, it did not go so well. It is their whole idea trying to force one persons of personal religious preferences and their own morality and everybody else.
Jennifer: Yes, that is why I cannot go to the store on Sunday and buy glass of wine.
Dan: Yes, I mean.
Jennifer: For a bottle of wine.
Dan: Someone shopping list, I maybe going that morning, you go there Saturday, Sunday morning it is, you know. These tops on my list and I see this big note over a display case, you cannot buy one and you can buy the one until 12 O’clock no colla.
Jennifer: And, you want a boost forget it.
Dan: Yes.
Jennifer: Again, same kind of thing, here is another comment. I do not want to see man running around grocery store without their shirts either. That was another comment. My comment on that is, yes, I do not want necessarily do that either but it is legal if a man wants to run around the grocery store without a shirt, he can. If a woman does that she is going to go to jail.
Dan: Yes. I mean, it maybe in bad taste it may not be. But is it legal? Is it right to make it illegal, just get it some bad taste.
Jennifer: Yes, I mean should make it illegal to be overweight? Should we make it illegal to dye your hair purple? I do not want to see that man running the grocery store either but I do everyday.
Dan: Yes. No kidding. We got it absolutely criminalized the purple hair.
Jennifer: Yes.
Dan: Right now, no, right now. Okay, here is another one. And, this is an interesting point that a bunch of the guys bring up. I have seen a lot of comments on this.
Jennifer: It did happens to agree with it.
Dan: Yes, I do. And, the comment was well it happens. I would hate to lose the fascination with breast says, one guy. And, I have to agree. I love breast. They brought me tremendous joy. No, really I love what is breast. They are great. And, it is nice that they are special and that maybe preference and it is great but it does not mean I get to make law keeping uncovered up until I want to play with them. But just does not make any sense.
