Yes religious aspects have a lot to do with it for many, as for myself it has everything to do with it. However you say that we with the religious views are forcing our beliefs on everyone else, so if everyone that want to expose them selves...in my view that is pornography...so it is okay that they force porn on me and my young children? That is just disgusting!! Men should also wear shirts, it's called self respect!!!

yes.i totally agree with you women can be able to go topless.last month when i was in the SONA it is a place where there is much heat .there were two girls they were feeling hot while they wearing their bra .so they decided to take it off and they took their bras off in front of my eyes even that one girl asked me to help her they went topless and they sat near me we were talking and we have much fun.anyway it is not bad to be topless.

Should it be legal for women to go topless in public? YES! Just like Dan and Jennifer said, many people have a foot fetish, but does that mean bare feet should be illegal now? Heck, why don't we ban ANY skin showing and be done with it?! That way, NO ONE in this forsaken world will be offended! GET OVER IT, PEOPLE!!! Breasts are not harmful and neither is any other body part for that matter. What's harmful is the way society treats nudity and then, instills this body shame on our youth. That's why kids have this unhealthy attitude towards the human body. Then, they grow up with this shame and, in turn, teach their children this...then, they teach their children...and so on and so on. And then, we wonder why there is so much body phobia...why there is also the following: rape, sexual addiction, prostitution, bad marriage, unwanted teenage pregnancy, Aids, obesity, anorexia, etc... Wake up, people! Nude is not lewd!

It is my belief that both men and woman should be alowed to go topless in certain locations such as beaches,in their homes, feeding babies at any location. Beyond this I feel both men and woman should use wisdom as to not offend others. Their are many locations in which going topless / nude is acceptable and it's not so much for adults I think of but children who are taught such things are not acceptable. In closing, I have noticed this rule applies more so in some countries than others. On a flight in Vietnam, I saw a woman feeding her child on the flight and not one person was offended. The main point is do as you wish w/o offending others, mostly children who are taught this is unacceptable in the States.
