Shrek Forever After Premiere
Kristina Guerrero: Is it bitter sweet for you at all?
Mike Myers: It’s sad. It’s just saying you know it’s just getting sadder and sadder as we go down the green carpet.
Cameron Diaz: It kills me that this is the end. It really does and I was, as it goes as I get closer to the end of the carpet. It really, it setting and it’s sad, it really is.
Antonio Banderas: Sad in one sight, satisfied would be over hand because actually I think as we accomplish something very beautiful.
Eddie Murphy: And that bitter sweet cause the movie so good. You know, so there’s not bitter feelings involved at all. And that that it’s over, I think that you know that’s when it’s about when it’s time to you know end it. I would just keep going and going and going to the people and vomit.
Mike Myers: It’s been such a great experience it’s been 12 years of my life working with people that really wanted to be excellent and we’ll do everything to make each one better and better.
Kristina Guerrero: Are the fans going to get the pay off for this last film.
Cameron Diaz: Yes, I definitely think so. What’s really great about this one is that you get to see Shrek and Fiona fall in love all over again but for real they're not redoing their love, they're not rediscovering it. They're falling in love for the first time again and that always what I loved on you know the first one how they you know found their true love.
Kristina Guerrero: I'm going into it knowing the story this had to be something that was going to really pay off for the fans. Are they going to get the pay off do you think?
Eddie Murphy: Absolutely, that’s why they say this is a good to leave it on. And they would be worth crashing it and Jeffrey with me and we could not live in the sour milk. We could level up integrity in this pictures and story and how sweet they are. And that you could just connect with them emotionally, it’s just like the no other animated film.
Mike Myers: I think the thing that blew my mind was Jeffrey said, “Do you want to be in an animated movie” and I said “Sure” and I said “What's it called?” and he “Shrek” I said “It’s not going to be last title are you sure” he’s like “Yes, trust me”. First time I saw it with an audience in the line is—but “Shrek I wanted you to see beautiful” and Shrek goes “But you are beautiful to me” and just to hear people gasp and crying, they were so moved and I was moved. And I'm in it, I was “Wow, I had no idea that the power of an animated movie”.
