Singapore Weather and Climate Guide Like most of Southeast Asia, this country is generally hot and humid. Hi, I’m Rebecca Brayton and welcome to watchmojo.com and today we’ll be checking out the climate in Singapore. Singapore consists of many small islands but its main terrain is the island of Singapore. It is also home to tropical rainforest. Most of the country is less than 50 feet or 15 meters above sea level. As Singapore is located just one degree north of the equator, the countries climate is considered equatorial. November to March is the wettest and windiest period. May to September has the lightest winds and rain. Relative humidity can vary during a day from 60% in the afternoon to 90% in the morning. Temperatures range year round from 81 degrees Fahrenheit or 27 degrees Celsius in June to 77 degrees Fahrenheit or 25 degrees Celsius in January. Singapore is a great destination for beach lovers as it boasts high temperatures year round. Just make sure to bring a hat.
