Female: Next exercise is called single leg stretches. Its function is to loosen out the hip and stretch the thigh out a little bit. You want to be pulling the leg in. Take your right hand and hold the ankle and left hand to the knee. Instinctively, you are going to want to have your hands in the opposite position but what that does is it going to open your leg up and you want to keep it going straight to your knees and going towards your shoulder so make sure the outside hand goes to the ankle every time. Keep your stomach in and then you are going to start alternating hands and alternating feet. So always the outside hand goes to the ankle. If your neck is tired you can do this exercise with your head down. If your hips are still stiff you can take one leg up more.
The important thing is that you squeeze this leg in every time and you keep your back steady and stable against the mat. More advanced version, simple version.
