Dude are you goofy or regular footed?(Right footed or Left footed) Try figuring that out first then keep practicing pushing off on the board because at the rate you're going you are going to seriously hurt you're self...just giving you the benefit of the doubt. Later

Skateboarding - How to Skate

The first step to skating, is skating. [Demonstration] First you put your front foot. You can either be a righty or a lefty so put your front foot parallel to the board like this and you take your back foot behind the board over here and then you push with your back foot like this and you put your other foot to the back parallel to it and that is how you skate. That is the basic learning how to skate. [Demonstration] Some people take their left foot instead of their right foot and use the heel and go they like that, same thing just opposite. [Demonstration]
