Hey, guys it’s Ren from make up by Ren-Ren and if you want to see my most requested video ever stay tuned for my skin care regimen video.
All right guys so, I’ve got this request to do my skin care regimen, probably the most in any other video and I thought it’s about time do it. I change products a lot. I test out a lot of different products so that’s why I haven’t done it, but I found that it really good for me. My skin type is dry and sensitive especially since it’s the winter month and its sensitive because back in my high school days. I had the worst skin ever, severe acne I had to go to dermatologist for years. Then it was on July I was put on the pill Accutane and a tab and have two course of it, course of it for me to finally get my skin to be clear.
Since then my skin been super sensitive so I have to kind of take care of it and watch what I use because a lot product just break me out and give me hives and rashes anything from like−I’ve tried Mario Badescu, Clean and Clear, Neutrogena. A lot of those just break me out, so I found a regimen that worked for me and, I’m not skin care expert so this is just for my own personal opinion.
So let’s go ahead and get started. Step one make up remover. Ok so, I suggest like if your at−if it’s in the night make sure to take off make up before you go to sleep, and its hard sometimes if we have eyeliner mascara eye makeup that’s a lot,. Often times the hardest to get off, this is the best make up remover I’ve found so far, and I heard about it, it’s called Mandom make up remover, I heard about pretty much on the blogs seen. It’s the hottest makeup remover out there. It’s an Asian product, not really sold in the US, so I had to get in, it at get on form eBay but it’s really good it’s−doesn’t sting. It’s very watery it’s like, looks likes milk. It removes anything and everything and this stuff is my Holy Grail make up remover, so I just go ahead and I put some on a cotton pad to remove my eye makeup first, and that makes the whole cleansing process a lot easier.
So, step two facial cleansers. Okay guys so after you removed most of the make up, it’s really important to do the first step, which is cleansing. I use Bioglycolic Facial Cleanser by Jan Marini. She’s a really−Jan Marini is a really famous skin care person for the celebrity. This has as, is a bioglycolic because it has glycolic acid, and has enough to the point where you guys will that it starts to lift like damaged tissues and scars and everything in it. It brightens your skin overtime and I can tell it’s, it’s making a difference because my skin is a lot better than it was a few weeks ago, so you have to make sure and cleanse and then move on to step two, toners.
Okay so, after you cleanse go ahead and tone and this is going to basically restore ph balance to your skin. It helps moisturize your skin better and it also and also the normal of any makeup or dirt that you missed. Put this on a cotton pad, this is my favorite one I’ve tried so far, its Alba, and I love the way it smells, it very citrus. It doesn’t sting, and to that super harsh like other astringents and toners that I’ve tried, so unfortunately I have to get some more but really great toner caught from target. After that, you have to move to step three, which is moisturizing.
Okay so before I apply my moisturizer, I do eye cream because it’s especially that I’m now that I’m 25. This is really when you should start doing preventive skin care, so I use, fast response eye cream from Mac and I just start it like that. And basically it works at hydrating my skin hopefully preventing any wrinkles and dark circles. It also has caffeine so it reduces puffiness and it’s really great as actually like, a base for your eyes before you put make up because it glides more smoothly. So I put that and then, I move to my moisturizer.
So I use this one in the Winter Time, Cetaphil is a great affordable brand dermatologists recommend it. It’s unscented which is good because pretty basics so it doesn’t irritate my skin with a bunch of excess stuff. It’s a cream so kind of sucks because you have to, like scoop it out which can be a little bit unsanitary but it’s really good, and I rub it in and generally when I do any kind of thing with my face. I go, I include the neck and the face and then you go, and upward circular motion, so I apply my moisturizer and I use this sometime during the day as well if it’s really cold. So now that we have the moisturizer, the next step is sunscreen.
Now sunscreen is mainly for the day. I don’t wear this at night cause I’m not going out, but in the day time I’ll mix this with my moisturizer so it’s really quick and it’s SPF 30 Jan Marini. Really great because its Mac, it’s not oily like most sunscreens so, it’s just for the face so it works well and again preventive. Preventive skin care so that’s pretty much my facial regimen that I do on a regular basis I’m going to show you some extra stuff now.
Okay guys, we need commercial breaks so, I’ve been giving you a little update to you there about my contest but one thing that I’m going to add and, I want to do this because I know not everybody can make a video. So if you leave a comment on my original contest video, just leave a comment and say whatever you want, positive hopefully, I will give a random commenter, who’s also subscribed but I’ll give them a mini prize. So I want to share that with you guys who can’t participate in the contest, just leave a comment, make sure you’re a subscriber and I’ll tell you who the random winner in the day. I would announce the contest result, so that’s it for now. Back to our scheduled program.
At night, I like to condition my lashes with Jan Marini eyelash conditioner called Marini lash, and I do that because my lashes suck. They’re straight then, and I feel like they get kind of dry and brittle from all my false lashes uses so, it’s good to use an eyelash conditioner at night. I also make sure to moisturize my lips, really important thing to do, I love my Aquaphor, and you probably heard me talked about. So you can get in anywhere, Aquaphor that’s the stuff, so in addition to these are the couple of things that you can do through out the week maybe, once or twice a week, to kind of really up your skin care again. One of those is face scrub
So I like the Mac micro fine finisher and because it has a really, fine beads and they really feel like they work, and I start to feel my nose getting a little rough because of the black heads. I use this and it feels smooth again, and I just kind of take of that dead layer of skin and give you a glowy look and I do this like once a week. You can do twice a weak. Don’t do it too much though because you don’t want to aggravate your skin. Another thing you can do is pore strips.
So I love the Biore pore strips, I don’t know on how to feel about them but I have really-really clogged pores on my nose that’s like my problem and this is the only thing will get it out and when I see the little stuff on the pads. I feel so happy that it’s gone, and you take it away with this stuff so, everybody knows that Biore pore strips you get them at any drugstore. And lastly, another thing to do maybe once or twice a week is a mask, and a really cheap one that’s good from drugstore is Queen Helen brand. You want to make julep but they don’t have so it’s a grape seed extract, and basically it’s just like giving yourself your own mini facial and. This is supposed to clean and refine your skin revealing cleaner, revitalizing looking skin, so I just do this once, twice a week just to kind of, you know freshen up the skin and all of this might seem a lot. Like a lot but it’s really quick, and once you’re done, like going through this and you stick to on a regular basis I did. Notice that my skin does look brighter and healthier and I want to keep it that way especially as the years progress so it’s never to, early to start taking care of your skin even though your young. Go ahead and put sunscreen and that eye cream so, that’s my skin care regimen.
I hope you guys enjoyed and till my next video. Bye-Bye.
