Doug: Hi! I am Doug from Colorado, is there anything that I should worry about if I take sleeping pills every night?

Peter Galier: Doug, that's a very good and important question. Many people do require sleeping medications every night. These were people who have chronic insomnia or other medical problems, which require the nightly use of medications in order to get restored sleep.

For the post part we try to keep people to a two to four week use of medications in order to restore their normal sleep cycle. If you require more than two to four weeks of medication, it would be good idea for you to talk to your physicians to make sure that there is not another medical problem that needs evaluation.
