Heidi Kerner: You’re going to make a lot of new contact.
Phil Kerner: When you hear the music that only enables us to enter that ground.
Heidi Kerner: Have fun, be open.
Phil Kerner: Ladies and gentleman, start your engines.
Heidi Kerner: Ready set, hello! Speed networking is related to most people have heard of speed or rapid dating and we say it’s like that where you put your hands and you always say.
Phil Kerner: So speed dating without the disappointment.
Heidi Kerner: Without the disappointment.
Toni Frigina-Yoder: Yeah. I was like, speed what? She’s like well it’s kind of like speed dating and well I don’t have any experience on that either so this is all new but it’s got a great time.
Misty O’Connor: A group like ESBA or really any group that’s doing this speed networking. It’s a very good opportunity for them to grow their business, to find referrals and it’s really you know make an impact on what they are trying to do with their businesses.
Lyn Kress: This is a very exciting experience we’re making. Let’s meet a lot of new people.
Heidi Kerner: You know this is something, its fun it’s fast. It’s a different way to network. So many people comes to meeting, internet working or attending seminars or walking around, they don’t know what to say to people, they are shy, they are uncomfortable. This gives a structure, I’m a firm believer in many people are introverted. This gives them a reason for something to do. They meet with somebody for five minutes, you ring a bell, and they meet with somebody else for five minutes. It gives them an opportunity to educate people on their business. It’s fun and guaranteed to win a new contest.
Phil Kerner: This is semantics, that’s the best part. You’re told what to do. Smallest people go to a networking and hang out within the same three people. They came through okay market and say networking does the rest, so they’ll get results done.
