Alex Fees: I'm Alex Fees on sbtv.com coming to you from the sunny Orlando, Florida, site of IFA, that’s International Franchise Association, their annual conference, 48 annual I might add and joining me here now is Christa Pusateri—justice there.
Christa Pusateri: That’s right, not many people get it right.
Alex Fees: No, Christa is the Director of Marketing for Ellianos Coffee Company.
Christa Pusateri: Yes.
Alex Fees: Where is Ellianos Coffee Company?
Christa Pusateri: Ellianos is located in Lake City, Florida we are the first town that you come in to when you're driving down Aisle 75 in the Florida so it's a pretty small town but we started there in 2003 we are the chain of the drive through specialty coffee shops and we specialized in very good quality espresso beverages, fruit smoothies at Americas taste as fast as we can get them out to you.
Alex Fees: Okay, you're telling me earlier you have some kind of a tag line right?
Christa Pusateri: Yes, we’ve say “Italian quality at Americas taste”.
Alex Fees: “Italian quality at Americas taste”.
Christa Pusateri: Yes.
Alex Fees: Now part of that Americas taste involves you're not just a one sided coffee shop, oh no.
Christa Pusateri: No, two sides that you can drive us through.
Alex Fees: Because one is not enough.
Christa Pusateri: One is not enough, we actually try to get our customers in and out within two minutes. So, in order to do that we have the double side, the other unique thing is that we don’t have speaker boxes that most of our location. So, it gives you the personal feeling of talking to your baristas as you would in a coffee shop. But you still have the steady convenience of the double drive through.
Alex Fees: So, if you're two sided you have two baristas inside the—
Christa Pusateri: Yeah, absolutely.
Alex Fees: Lattes, espressos things of that nature.
Christa Pusateri: Yeah, even breakfast sandwiches, bagels, biscotti anything.
Alex Fees: Eight locations you said what five in Florida, three in Georgia.
Christa Pusateri: Yes.
Alex Fees: Okay.
Christa Pusateri: We have five, three more coming on this year and our goal is to get 12 this year.
Alex Fees: Tell me about your experience here at IFA.
Christa Pusateri: It has been amazing so far, this our second day of here and I have met so many people already just coming out of the—with the keynote speaker there general call and pal. So many just interesting things you thought about his life and he's experience in government and things that you wouldn’t really normally think of or know about him. So, it's really interesting but I think the main thing here is just all of the learning that you can get there are CEO’s of the top franchises.
I met Fred DeLuca last night from subway and he really can't get you know in a room with all of these people, all of this talent, all of this ideas anywhere else.
Alex Fees: Fred DeLuca you mean of Subway Sandwich Shop Fred DeLuca.
Christa Pusateri: Yes, the subway sound there Fred DeLuca.
Alex Fees: Wow, what most of that been like it, you talked about franchise is taken off.
Christa Pusateri: Yeah, it was amazing, it was very nice way to stood there and talked to him, so just like anybody regular everyday of people so I mean at this conference you don’t get it I mean there is nowhere else that you can get that kind of interaction with top level CEO’s.
