Alex Fees: I am Alex Fees on Small Business Television. We are coming to you from SEMA 2008 that is Specialty Equipment Market Association and joining me here now is Richard Ogawa. Richard good to meet you sir.
Richard Ogawa: Nice to meet you.
Alex Fees: With OK Spark out of Canada, right?
Richard Ogawa: That's correct.
Alex Fees: And Richard's shirt says the whole story here, GOT SPARK. Now he is holding his product in his hand and Richard this is a Spark plug sensor.
Richard Ogawa: That's correct.
Alex Fees: It works in such a way that you don't have to remove the spark plug in order to check it.
Richard Ogawa: That's correct. In fact the big difference with our product is, we believe it's the must have tool for any auto mechanic, auto enthusiast or auto hobbyist. Essentially what you do with our tool is you can scan every spark plug and immediately know if the spark plug is live or dead without having to physically take the spark plug out of the cylinder.
Alex Fees: Alright this is it. You plug this in I am guessing.
Richard Ogawa: This is simply the probe and all you really have to do is to scan the cylinder with the probe, you simply turn the unit on, it will tell you that it's in real time mode that's when your engine is running just scan your cylinders and if you have the spark and voltage, those lights will light up. And the very unique thing about our tool is most tools out there only measure KV which stands for high voltage and they will only tell you if the coil is good and the hardest part there is you can't really tell if there is spark coming out of the bottom of the spark plug. And lot of times you can even take the spark plug out of this cylinder and get spark. As soon as you put that spark plug in you get no spark and you wouldn't be able to tell because it's inside the cylinder. So if you can imagine for any small owner or mechanic or technician, huge time saving for them because they are going to immediately scan all the cylinders and immediately be able to tell which spark plugs are firing and not firing.
Alex Fees: Richard, tell me about your involvement here at SEMA 2008. Have you been here before?
Richard Ogawa: No, this is actually our first time in SEMA.
Alex Fees: Very exciting.
Richard Ogawa: We are very excited by it. This is actually the first time that we launched the product to the market. And we actually became a runner up in the best new products award.
Alex Fees: Oh really?
Richard Ogawa: That's for best new tool.
Alex Fees: Congratulations.
Richard Ogawa: Yeah, we were very excited by that.
Alex Fees: That publicity will certainly serve you guys well at a convention where there is more then a hundred thousand people.
Richard Ogawa: We are definitely helpful for that and we are very excited about this SEMA show and just the tremendous amount of response we are getting at our booth from just being the presence of that show.
Alex Fees: So you have a booth here in addition to that you are recognized as being runners up.
Richard Ogawa: Yes that's correct.
Alex Fees: What you are hearing from people at your booth in particular?
Richard Ogawa: There are three basic questions that they come and ask us as they go, what does it do? How much is it? And where do I buy it? And that to us is very exciting to us. It is telling us hey, we have found a product that validates indeed and you are aware of form fines function, where we've got a valuable tool that actually saves mechanics, time and money and it resonates to the public saying, this is the tool that we need.
Alex Fees: Yes absolutely. Richard, where could we get more information about Ok Spark?
Richard Ogawa: We made it real simple you can come to our website at okspark.com or you can also reach us on our toll free number at 866-657-7275.
