Alex Fees: Samantha, what is Armchair Adventure?
Samantha Lippolis: Well Armchair Adventure, we bring the world to people’s doorsteps, through audio-narrated adventures on mp3 and CD. And our listeners experience a full sensory journey to an exotic wilderness destination in just 20 minutes without leaving home.
Alex Fees: Really? Well Samantha, how did Armchair Adventure come to be, what’s your background?
Samantha Lippolis: Well I worked on expedition, travel, cruise lines for about 13 years and I was blessed to go all over the world and I found that when talking to people about travel, some people want to do it, some people don’t but storytelling really inspires their imagination and that’s how I came to Armchair Adventures.
Alex Fees: All right. What are your impressions of Michael Gerber? Is he setting a thing this morning like the quotes I said earlier, that you could like you can utilize?
Samantha Lippolis: Yeah I think it’s fantastic for me because in a startup role, I'm really working from the vision, backwards. So really I'm using his forward thinking of what is your greater vision, what do you want to achieve and building a business from that. So I'm not in a position to need to fix something, I'm really in a creation position which is perfect for this type of conference.
