Alex Fees: I’m Alex Fees on Small Business Television and we’re come with you form Sema 2008 the special T Equipment Market Association here on Las Vegas and joining me here now is Larry Collin, Larry good to meet you sir. Larry Collin: Likewise. Alex Fees: Appreciate to be in here; Larry is a President of company of Pennsylvania called Car Planet. Larry Collin: Correct. Alex Fees: What do you do? What are your products? Larry Collin: We manufacture 100% eco-friendly automotive detailing products. Alex Fees: Automotive detailing like what? Larry Collin: We have car wash, window cleaner, and all purpose cleaner, a wheel cleaner and to keep erase there all work. Alex Fees: They do work. Larry Collin: They’re completely green and they do work. Alex Fees: And Larry told me before we go on camera he says they are eco-friendly but the kicker is they do work. Larry Collin: Right, most times in the past and it’s been green when we see the stigma because it’s actually didn’t work. Alex Fees: Right. Larry Collin: It was actually green. Alex Fees: Yeah, yeah. Larry Collin: But this can be pour right into the ground without hurting anything but they’re actually effective and that’s what I really need in my business, Alex Fees: Okay and Larry is company car planet and these products have been recognized by SEMA this morning did you say? Larry Collin: Yesterday in fact. Alex Fees: Yesterday morning, yeah let’s see. The winner of the SEMA Global Media Award. Larry Collin: Yeah with the SEMA Global Media for the all purpose cleaner, it was I guess tested out I don’t know they did that but they tested it and they want it so rank this to be the best all purpose cleaner. Alex Fees: That’s great, congratulations. Larry Collin: Thank you very much. Alex Fees: So how these come about? You are the President of the company how long you’ve been in business? Larry Collin: We just started I mean its been two half years that actually creating the products with my chemist, the company we just launch by the month and half ago but for detail shots in Philadelphia and I found the need to have a product that would include the environment and with my employees and most of the stuff like I said I tried that was level green it wasn’t green actually or did not work. And my business I can sacrifice effectiveness for some maybe green so I rather have something that works so I came out with this product that actually is green and it actually work so— Alex Fees: And so Larry your background is in detailing. How did you get into the whole chemical thing, did you just hire a chemist? Do you have a background in chemical issues if you well? Are you familiar with this? Larry Collin: I really have no background of chemicals and what so ever, I do have a friend that I landed upon and he is a chemist and she actually invented those detergent and all of that.The man and those who is doing is outstanding and the product to be free is just above in behind I expected so I think it’s really got a lot potential in doing our well. Alex Fees: Now it’s Car Planet the name of your detailing shop as well? Larry Collin: No, my detail shop name is Classy Automotive. Alex Fees: Classy Automotive. Larry Collin: That’s why I look in more PA. Alex Fees: Okay and your Car Planet is an outgrowth or in evolution of that the people. Larry Collin: Sure and I found the need for a products and with another company Car Planet. Alex Fees: Absolutely. Larry tell me about your association with SEMA, how many years you’ve been here. Larry Collins: This is my first year. Alex Fees: First year. Larry Collin: New member and I love it, my legs a little bit tired. Alex Fees: Yeah it’s part of walking. Larry Collin: Its definitely jog into it. Alex Fees: That’s very exciting, first year of SEMA and you’re award winner. Larry Collin: Yeah, I’m very happy about that. Alex Fees: Get both here on addition to that? Larry Collin: Yes we have both. Alex Fees: So what’s your impression? How is that working for you? Larry Collin: It’s great you know sitting at home and not coming we could never generate the amount of qualified list let say that you can just by standing here for five hours a day or six hours a day and it’s unbelievable and it’s worth in waiting go. The investment is very minimal. Alex Fees: I’m sure has been for you being an award winner. Larry Collins: Sure. Alex Fees: What about was there ceremony? Was they set a breakfast yesterday morning? Larry Collin: Yeah after the show close last night they have to go upstairs and the— Alex Fees: So is that reception are low on that ceremony, how many people begin to your product any idea? Where there are hundreds or thousands there? Larry Collin: I don’t know if hundreds or thousands but I like to think more than just on my both that’s why I mean a couple of hundreds of list hopefully when we had the pictures they give us the award and we mingled which is always the key to get the people involve so.
