Brittini Welcome to SBTV.com’s STA award Gala Coverage, right now I am talking with Mark A. Fitzgerald the founder and CEO of RMC Energy group LLC. How you doing?
Mark: Great.
Brittni: Congratulations on winning your award.
Mark: Thank you very much.
Brittni: You're welcome, now I understand that your are an exporter. What are some of the big success as such of your business has recently experienced?
Mark: Well, we are actually in the energy business so if anybody knows anything right now energy is where it’s at.
Brittni: Energy is a hot topic right now, especially the lot of business is going green and looking to conserve energy.
Mark: Exactly.
Brittni: What is it that you would recommend?
Mark: Obviously, burning cleaner fuels is one thing that I recommend which is the business that we are in. We are on the energy side of the fuel oil and basically what we do is we try to help clean up the environment by using cleaner and friendlier environmental additives for our fuels, so—
Brittni: Now, it just seems that you are working with fuel because the prices right now are continuously on the rise, what do you think that is going to go to you? Are you really looking for ways to—
Mark: That is a million dollar question for everybody, and even in our business we do not have any clue about it. We do not know what drives the price; we do not understand some of it either. So it is kind of confusing for everybody I think right now.
Brittni: What is your business’s goals for the feature, what is that you're working on?
Mark: Obviously we work on the exports side of things right now; we export in into third world countries mainly. We help them to develop their technologies so that they have a better understanding of a cleaner world and we try to get their governments to look at all out technologies to adapt and to adopt them into their countries.
Brittni: Do you have any advice for some entrepreneurs right now, who are starting their own business? You mentioned before that patience is the key.
Mark: Patience is really important I learned that the hard way. You know there is a people that shop and they want to take their stuff home and there’s people that shop but can wait two weeks. And when you are in business, especially in the export business you may shift something expectedly paid, it does not happen overnight. And you have a customer one day and the customer knock the next. So, it is very competitive and basically if what I would tell I knew business owner or somebody who is going to go into business for himself, like I said, do the research, put a good business plan together and follow it no matter what happens.
Brittni: Thank you so much for that interview. I am Brittni lombardo reporting for SBTV.com where small business is our only business.
