Ivy Welcome to SBTV.com coverage of the 2007 National Association of Women Business Owners conference in Atlanta Georgia. I might be Hartman and with me is Julian Forster of Price of perfect. Now Julian tells me about Priciest Perfect in what you do?
Julian Price of perfect is cost management programs in system that we have develop to help small business accurately price of product and service and compete competitively when they are bidding.
Ivy How often do you take on a client who might be commonly missed fighting and what is the common that state in talking your price thing for your services or products as a small business sound like.
Julian One of the biggest mistakes that the small business make in stay reduce their price to get the bid and offer them that actually sells themselves out of business. I have a client who has a bakery who was competing against Chris Brekraine and he drop his price it cents for donut so he can get the contract and when we do the costume analysis it was actually causing him two cents more on what he was getting.
Ivy Not good business and why?
Julian He was a former banker who turned baker and he just thought that was about you were suppose to get business.
Ivy Not the tongue tester, banker baker.
Julian And this should never happen.
Ivy Was a two different test. In addition to running price at perfect, you have served as President for the chapter and in your area and ultimate Pennsylvania. But also what interest me is that your also involve in the proper quality in terms of the National Organizations. As real quick, let us talk about some of the Public Polity Issues facing some small business donors and maybe even females have small business owners.
Julian Why are there biggest issues and it is issue of help care benefits. And then unfortunately inspire of more loving and our concern and with one of our employees cover. It is not that we don’t, but our organizations have been trying to get an association bill pass with actual being able to lend serve on members crossed the united states. All small business are really suffering to the escalating process. Listen, we are trying to do something about that and it’s an uphill battle.
Ivy I was wondering how it is being receive in capital health and that locally?
Julian We have some supporters unfortunately we have a lot of people including the instrument industry who lobbyists against us.
Ivy That is going to be tough.
Julian Yes it is.
Ivy But we appreciate all your efforts on that sign and also for being here at the Natural Conference Area, but is there any specific event that you attended or a session that you attended that you really got a lot from?
Julian I usually get a lot of all of it, tremendously enjoy the speaker that spoke yesterday, she is very popular she has discussed one of the issues one of joining one of the forms and we were talking about this practices because that really gets you thinking because you think you know what you are doing but you don’t when you have all this exciting other things that now by chapters are doing. So pick a lot of great ideas.
Ivy Well good for you Joan, thanks for joining us here as SBTV.com and our coverage of the conference. Well thank you for coming where is the light of your hair of.
