Alex Fees: I’m Alex Fees for small business television SBTV.com. We are on location in Baltimore at the 2009 pet industry spring trade show. John Schikal: Okay basically domestic bird and animal feed. Alex Fees: Okay. John Schikal: Fortified mixes that we make at our plant in Pennsylvania. Alex Fees: I have got to stay some of these stuff looks pretty tasty. John Schikal: Yes. Alex Fees: Will I like it? John Schikal: Yes you would actually. A lot of people come up and they just kind of dig into it like a trail mix, you know. It is, it is, it is good stuff. Alex Fees: It is not for though huh? John Schikal: No, it’s—well you know it can be, I mean its, it is—we are certified for people food so I mean that people can eat it, but it is for the birds and animals. Alex Fees: Alright, but I see here we have food for a Cockatiel, hamsters, and gerbils and parrots. So what are the ingredients? Tell me what I am looking at here. John Schikal: Basically you are looking at a mixture of seeds, anywhere from a─ you know oil seeds, peanuts, bananas, fruits, beans, and nuts, and then we have extruded diets that also are mixed minerals and vitamins Alex Fees: And you have food for animals other than birds as well? John Schikal: Absolutely. We do hamsters and gerbils like you said. Guinea pigs, rabbits, yes. Alex Fees: I see a big rabbit there behind you. John Schikal: Exactly yeah. Alex Fees: Where do people go to get more information about the products that more of you has to offer? John Schikal: We have a website, www.scarlettpetfood.com. Alex Fees: Okay and where are your distributors? Are you guys in retail stores? John Schikal: Yes we are. Okay we have─ we ship up and down the East Coast, and as far west as Chicago.
