Thanks for stopping by. I am Chef Billy Parisi, and you're watching fixmyrecipe.com. Our new fix goes to Sharon. Unfortunately, she forgot to tell us where is she from, that is okay. But even funnier, all she wrote was snickerdoodle cookies, kind of funny but that's fine. I am guessing she has trouble making them, means to see how it's done. Don't worry Sharon, pay close attention, we're going to fix you up some brand new snickerdoodle cookies.
Sharon, the first thing we need to do is cream together our sugar and fat. So in a kitchen, let's go ahead and add in our butter, lard, and sugar. It takes about 5 or 10 minutes to completely cream, and in another a bowl we're going to ahead sift together this flour, baking soda, and salt. Alright, it looks like our fat and sugar are completely creamed together. At this time, we want to add in our eggs just one at a time. Once they are completely combined we're going to ahead and add in all of our dry ingredients.
While our dough is forming, we're going to go ahead and combine our sugar to cinnamon, two part sugar one part cinnamon. Alright, our dough is together, sugar and cinnamon are blended. We're going to go ahead roll them into one-and-half inch balls, then roll them in that sugar and cinnamon mixture, place them on a sheet pan, going in the oven 350 degrees about 10-12 minutes.
Oh! Man! This look and smell awesome. We need to wait till they completely cool before we try them out. Oh! Man! Sharon, those are tasty little treats. I am not exactly sure what your problem was, but hopefully by watching this video you're able figure out how to make these snickerdoodle cookies.
