Snowboarder Seb Toutant Interview
Stephanie Ng Wan: So, I would just like to know how you got interested in snowboarding.
Sebastien Toutant: I just practice in my hometown in Montreal, just got some new sponsor and just traveling around the road and just doing some contest and now I’m here.
Stephanie Ng Wan: You started off very young, right? So, you’re 13 years old?
Sebastien Toutant: Yeah. I was starting big; came as a 13 years old but I was starting snowboarding at nine years old. So, it’s my sixth year or seventh year.
Stephanie Ng Wan: And what do you like most about the sport.
Sebastien Toutant: Everything is fun with this sport. It’s like a big family and we’re just befriends and just no stress and just having fun.
Stephanie Ng Wan: How do you go back up after bailing from a trick?
Sebastien Toutant: Sometimes it happens. You just need to concentrate to doing your tricks. You need to fail to learn some new stuff for sure.
Stephanie Ng Wan: Are you satisfied with the current tricks that you can do or are you always trying to make yourself to do better and better?
Sebastien Toutant: That’s my goal to just getting better and better. That’s why I’m snowboarding. Yeah, I’m just starting to try some new tricks.
Stephanie Ng Wan: And what would you say is the worst part about snowboarding?
Sebastien Toutant: Everything is fun about snowboarding. It’s just cool.
Stephanie Ng Wan: I would like to talk about what snowboarding related injury and how you felt after that, did you want to continue snowboarding?
Sebastien Toutant: Yeah. I broke my collarbone last year. Everybody will have some injuries sometimes, so [Inaudible] but still good.
Stephanie Ng Wan: Thank you very much.
