Sony Ericsson W850 - Hands-on
So, this is the Sony Ericsson W850, it’s our latest entry into the Walkman line of Sony Ericsson mobile phones and this is actually the 16th model that we’ve launched with that very successful Walkman line.
And the first thing we notice about it is its cool style, it’s a slider form factor, it’s thin its only 14 millimeters thin. As you can see with the cool style of it the actual lens can be very, very visually appealing product, but if the visual was all there now we have a whole lot more to talk about.
For the first talk we have the Walkman interface. This is using the Walkman 2.0 interface which has even greater ease of used for the music listener, but also supports albumized, so you can have JPEGs of your album or it covers right there and found itself.
And thinking of the active lifestyle for the —of this product dischargeable, we also have fitness applications in the Sony Ericsson 850. If you’re a runner, you can tract your distance and your speed and your average speed and you have a history of that recorded in the phone, and you can use that personal trainer this fitness running application at the same time you’re listening to your music.
So, you can walk and run at the same time and have your training manager with you, and supporting thinking again of the 50 aspects of this. It comes with some full accessories to help out with that too.
The affordable stereo hands free that it comes with of course stereo because it’s a walkman product, but the earplugs are behind the ear box that makes it more stable when you’re running.
It comes with a belt clip too and an arm bands, so you can choose what you want to wear and that it is this tracking your steps and your speeds they are really convenient especially on your arm where you can control the music or adjust the fitness application while you’re exercising.
It has expandable memory and of course with the Sony memory stick M2 format. It comes with a 512 megabyte stick, so it’s a half a gig wearing your phone right after that, but of course you can expand it to even greater capacity if you want too.
The point is you know, with the half gig or larger you’re music is not going to run out before you work on this, and of course it has Bluetooth as well, everything you did expect in a Sony Ericsson Walkman product at FM radio.
