Laura Behctolsheimer: This is Trico; he is a seven year old PRA under Spanish stallions. And he is been with me for a couple of years now training, as you can see he is got rather a long name, which gets in the way when I'm riding and I'm not allow to, to touch it, to pull it, cut it or anything if I doing this frighten to cut my hand hair off, I like my hair. So normally have it in just a five or six long plaits and I'm tide it everyday, but I'm going to show you the smarter version that we do for the shows.
Right we start like a normal plait with three small sections and do just a couple down the main. Then we start threading in smaller sections like a french bread. And if you want to keep as tight as you can. So you don't end up with big loops down the plait, doesn't really mattered too much, what size they are, this is got lot of remain to gets through doesn't have to be too tiny. That so much hair and in a middle I get little bit because he might be you should take bigger chunks and he got a strong fingers to hold little bit together. I can't even brush it too much, so it is finger the remaining out that have pulled too much that I had.
This is a correct plait to have on this under Spanish stallion I'm not too sure about - but I think in dressage, dress much too much, so if you do have upon new with a very long mane this should be a good way getting in out the way. I thing showing we have bit more particular rules about it but just as long as it looks neat and tidy that out of your hands it doesn't matter too much.
Can get a little bit longer leaves on this at the end here you just have to be careful what you don't let it get too long. You can nice and tight, you do end-up with few they will struggle bit here, but I get on all that to chuck them off. So we just have to hide them under numnah and at the end plug down and just get a normal band to know this quite a lot of a lot of long struggle bits, just trying tid of them as a best you can, so double up a bit and then take the band over it and then we double up this little bit of plait and put a band in there, here we go.
