Cuantos anos tienes? (How old are you?)
Yo tengo 30 anos. Y tu? (I’m 30 years old. And you?)
Yo tengo 29 (veintinueve). (I’m 29.)
Maria tambien tiene 29. (Maria is 29 too.)
Verbo “tener” (verb “tener”)
To talk about age, w use the verb “tener”. So far, we’ve seen 3 different forms:
Yo TENGO 30 anos. (I’m 30 years old.)
Tu TIENES 29. (You are 29)
Maria TIENE 29 anos (Maria is 29 years old)
Otros pronombres (Other pronouns)
Nosotros TNEMOS 35 (treinta y cinco) anos. (We are 35 years old.)
Ustedes TIENEN 41 (Cuarenta y uno). (You are 41.)
Ellos TIENEN 53 (cincuenta y tres). (They are 53)
