Anthony Caporale: Welcome to Art of the Drink. My name is Anthony Caporale and this week we are working with a new DrinkArt girl, but you probably remember her from the Maker's Mark Egg Nog episode, Stephanie.
Stephanie: Right, hi.
Anthony Caporale: Good, how are you doing?
Stephanie: Good.
Anthony Caporale: Alright, we have St. Patrick's Day coming up.
Stephanie: Yeah.
Anthony Caporale: So we have got to do an Irish drink and I am going to pick a classic one. Remember we did Irish copy last year. This year we are going to do a Nutty Irishman. Really simple, absolutely delicious. Only two ingredients, we are going to start with a Rocks glass, fill it up with ice and Baileys Irish Cream and you want an ounce and a half of Baileys Irish Cream which is the majority of the drink and then we are going to top it off, this is the Irish part obviously, the nutty part, Frengelico.
So little bit of Irish and little of Italian but half ounce of Frengelico in there and then we just want to roll this into a mixing tin and right back in a Rocks glass, serve it with a stir and a cocktail napkin and that is our St. Patrick's Day Nutty Irishman. Want to give it a try?
Stephanie: Alright, yeah.
Anthony Caporale: Each week our Art of the Drink video podcast surprise package will consists of a Maker's Mark apron, a copy of my Art of the Drink Volume One Bar Essentials DVD and a limited edition version of That Special Touch, a Maker's Mark cook book not available in stores. Alright ready to give it a try?
Stephanie: Ready.
Anthony Caporale: Go for it. Good, Rocks glass, you can tell Stephanie's been doing this for a while, build the drinks in the way ArtGirl is supposed to and ounce and half of Baileys, beautiful. Baileys for those of you who don't is actually Irish Whiskey that has cream added to it and Frangelico which is Hazlenut, roll.
Stephanie: Serve with the straw.
Anthony Caporale: You got it. You are going to go and try this.
Stephanie: Yeah.
Anthony Caporale: Happy St. Patrick's Day
Stephanie: Happy St. Patrick's Day,
Anthony Caporale: Salute (Ph).
