Hi, this is Francisco Bujan from vitalcoaching.com. We are talking about, fitness, diets and vitality. And, the topic for this video is stay fit, fitness, and nutrition strategies. This is a bit of a video update to tell you what I have been doing over the last few years, in terms of fitness and nutrition strategies and simply because, I have been creating, a lot of new material on the side on vitalcoaching.com and I want to share you a little bit what this is about. And I want to tell you a little bit what this is about, so that you will understand what I am working on, okay.
The topic here is nutrition and fitness strategies. The key challenge that you face, when you want to get healthy, really get fit. When you are on there has to do with feeding yourself with that really matches your targets and also, putting in place a fitness strategy or a training routine that really works under your own term and you keep on applying in your life without major efforts. So those two targets, both nutrition and fitness or either size are the two targets I focused on and I make sure that strategy that I have looked are really matching your very specific and unique needs.
The first big chance that you will face, when you try to get fit, try to be healthy, try to have a very healthy diet is the fact that when you go out there, you go a supermarket for instance, you will bombarded by marketing messages, which try to sell you stuff, which is rather not good for you. If you go in to a supermarket now a days, probably 90% or 95% of what it is exposed out there is related with food, which are heavily processed and that are not especially giving you what you need, in terms of micronutrients and all that, an energy boost and energy to your body. So, it is very important that you come up with the strategy that allows you navigate these marketing brainwashing, which is going wrong and focus on really on the foods that are really good for you.
There are few guidelines which are really simple to buy stuff, which is good for you and it has to do with simply focusing on buying fresh products much more. If you check what is the proportion of a supermarket, which is dedicated to fruit and vegetables for instance. You will notice that it is only a small, very small fraction of all the products, which are there and available. You check for me the pizza represents for the fruit and vegetable in many supermarkets, or the aspirin section.
So, while you are in the supermarket, you literally go to work. You go to battle. You have to fight the battle, so that you will still really focus on what is good for you and do not let yourself sidetrack richer of foods. So this is the first major challenge that I really going that into this stay fit program.
The second main challenge that you would face has to do with putting in place triennium fitness or exercise strategy that really works for you on the long term without major effort. Most of the times when you start training, you start with a very high level of motivation. So, you will go into this training routine or whatever you decide to do, very often it is going to be like going to jog, three times a week. I am going to swim. I am going to bike. I am going to go to the gym. Do all these things and you can target, it is very, very high. The thing that tends to happen is that your level of motivation tends to drop slowly and after awhile, you simply let go this routine.
So, you have to put in place training strategy that really works. And, I am telling you that you cannot maintain without major effort. If you went out and you are in your will power and this is not enough, it has to be firm. It has to be exciting for you everyday when you go and train. So, I focus all these on my stay fit channel.
