Hi, this is Francisco Bujan from vitalcoaching.com. The topic for this video is strategic thinking. How to solve any challenge? Today I am going to tell you a little bit more about coaching and having coaching sessions with me. So that you will understand a little bit more of the process and especially the benefits of what happens within a coaching session one on one.
When we are having the coaching session most of the times I call you, I really need you to call in some people call you wherever you are, you know on your cell phone, or on your landline at the appointed time that we have. Now, the goal of coaching sessions is me to design the strategy to solve the challenge that you might be facing at that time.
When we start the session, most of the times what we do first is we try to identify the exact challenge that you want to solve. Sometimes you are going to be tracking the situations whether it is on your relationship or at the work or you know in your social life or in your personal life, in the challenge that he has to do with health or this kind of things and you simply do not know exactly how to solve this challenge. You simply need the strategy of boost of energy sometimes it has to do with just energy, pure energy finding answers, this kind of things and what I am asking you to do is to help you open doors to really open the doors because we work together and pushing the same direction together.
So I am going to explain to you a little bit what happens to coaching sessions where you too intimidated and if you feel like you need a boost of energy, a boost of strategies and something disorders, you know where to find me and it is going to be maybe easier for you to take the step.
So the first thing that we need to do, or that you want to do when you signed up in the coaching session. The first thing that we do is really identifying the exact challenge that you are facing. Supposedly that you are a guy and you are facing jealousy or you are being to demanding or possessive with your girlfriend and she is planning to break up with you right? She told you that and you want to solve this exact challenge.
So the first step is to define the challenge and reduce it to its real size. Very often when you are tracking a challenge, you attend to over generalize the program. You are making bigger than what it is actually. And the first thing that we do is we reduce it to its real size and we identify them with exactly, finds as you could tell me that you are the guy who is jealous, what I am going to say is in what situations do you express, let me see, rather than saying, you are jealous and what we are going to define is exactly in what situations you express that this jealousy this been running opposite of the attitude, that will tell you would realize that most of the times you can reduce your challenge to two or three situations in your relationship then you feel, you know that you are not be hating the way you would like.
So what we are going to do is identify exactly what these challenges are. The next step that we are going to take, is define exactly what the power dynamics? So the energy dynamics are in these specific situations. Supposed that finds that you are challenged when you go out with your girlfriend or wife because she is chatting with a lot of people and you feel that you are neglected. So what we are going to identify is exactly how you feel in this situation and especially you know, what are the problems that are going on between you, the rest of the crowd there, the rest of the people and also between you and your girlfriend or wife, okay?
So once we identify that that it makes it much easier because we have a very clear picture. We have a very clear description, a very clear landscape of the energies that are happening on the specific moment. So once you understand that, once you have a clear picture then it is much easier to design the strategy or a solution for that specific challenge. Most of the times, the solution or the strategy will look like with new behavior, a new attitude, something that you can change within that set up so that the outcome is different.
So this part of finding the solution, finding the strategy, the solving strategy that is going to solve this specific challenge, it is either, I ask you very directly questions so that you find your own answers, that is one way of going or if we don have too much time for this within the 15 minutes session then I am going to sometimes give you directly the strategies that I think working the best. Okay?
