Expozed
Male 1: Welcome each to the EXPO show. I am glad to have you here and you are with Adobe.
Deeje: Yup.
Male 1: Talking here about the Adobe Media Players soon in media west.
Deeje: That is right.
Male 1: Maybe tell us all about the Adobe Media Player.
Deeje: Sure, Adobe Media Player is a desktop application that allows users to find manage and watch their favorite TV shows across the internet. All give in cons and creators to hook their need to monetize her consent including branding, advertising, client side measurement and client side protection in the front.
Male 1: Well, let us talk about specifically the digital council producer the person uploading. What is the process for somebody that has an inventory of videos is already that they want to share through your site? What do you explain to us step one through final publishing?
Deeje: Okay. Well, publishing video online there are many steps involve just to do that on to a browser page today. Many companies with large libraries of concept will use what we call a video management system to upload their content trans coded into the flash format manage to media data and publish it to a website using a flash suite player. Many the same systems are now also generating RSS feed for podcast and those are some speed where compatible with Adobe Media Player. There are also adding support for the branding capabilities of Adobe Media Player. You can get a branded experience here in the Adobe Media Player.
Male 1: So it is a digital account producer that already have videos publish and have in our RSS feed for them. I do not need to re-upload to your site. I can give the RSS feed and you will automatically track it?
Deeje: That is right. We have a relationship with account owners to list their content in our catalog. It is also easy for any user to manually paste in RSS feed into the Adobe Media Player and have that broadcast a come in Adobe Media Player.
Male 1: Now the video has to be already in flash or what if you have an RSS feed that is made up of iTunes videos which are M4Vās/
Deeje: That is right. With our latest version of flash we are actually support the DH.264 Kodak as well as the Mpeg4 container formats. That means that Adobe Media Player being base on the flash technology can actually play many of the podcast that are compatible with the iTunes specification.
Male 1: Right.
Deeje: So you do not necessarily into trans code into flash. We actually are promoting the use of a shot 264 video consent in flash. So we support many of those podcast today.
Male 1: Okay now, I do not want to be controversial but I have a question about you guys call the Adobe Media Player?
Deeje: Yes.
Male 1: Excellent. But it replace flash and now with H.264 do you see a time when it is truly becomes a multi media player, meaning they will play other types like QuickTime, like Windows Media all the other formats that are out there?
Deeje: We have got an question before and I think we are open to understanding what end users need. I think the genesis for the name Adobe Media Player was to recognize that it is not just video that people want to aggregate into one place on their desktop but it can include other kinds of media types like photos.
Male 1: Do you support audio podcast?
Deeje: We do not support audio yet but audio is another kind of content that in this is would like to have that aggregated. So focus on video and specifically TV style content in our first generation with the application in future generations where I support for this other media times two the aggregators who can have all of your content in one place.
Male 1: Now, do you guys go mainly with the big networks I see on your screen here. You know you gone to cover report daily each others those are big guys, what about the small guys like us that we do not have millions of years but like for example for us we have in excisable audience but that it is very focus do you guys support us as well.
