Now, what you are going to do, is shake it off and you get the knot in the middle, do not let go of the ends though, you got to keep holding it to the end to shake it off when you get the knot.
That is not over, that is it. You got it and out and that is it, click the fingers as well, it does help. That is it and now just drops it off, it is fantastic. You got it.
This is the explanation for knot a problem, you do not need to use special rope, and there is nothing special about the bits of rope that I gave out during the live performance. You could even use or borrow a necktie if you wanted too and you could still do exactly the same thing. Tie a knot in a piece of rope without letting go of the ends, it sounds impossible but the first part is exactly the same as it looked, there is no special moves with the first part and you just follow along exactly as I did during the live performance.
The piece of rope goes over the arm first of all, over the arm from the front to the back creating two loops without letting go of the end you go in the first loop, the biggest one and out again. Now, hopefully you followed this along with me at home with your necktie, with your piece of rope, you are now in this position. This is where you do the piece of slight of hand and it all happens over here with the right hand, this is where the move is actually going to take place.
What I am going to do, I am going to let go of this piece of rope and I am going to grip hold of this piece of rope. Now, this happens in the same moment as I throw all the loops of my hand, this is why it is undetectable, you just cannot see it, there is no way you can see it.
Literally, just by throwing it off I will take it very slowly, you throw it off and you grip hold of the other piece of rope underneath and the rest drops off and obviously you create a knot because you did let go the ends. Now, you may remember from the live performance, there was a part where I actually said I am sure you are going to get it, I am sure you are going to get it, click your fingers but remember, I took the ropes off the girl. Now, in the action of taking the ropes of the girl, I may holding on to the ends effectively now, she has let go of the ends but they just do not get it, they do not see this. It seems quite simple now looking back but it is such a great subtlety. You take the ends off them and you say we will not let go of the ends, let me hold them but in the action of hand in the move they let go of the ends but you hold them tight and when they flame them off.
