Step 1
Chop your meat & onions.
Step 2
Hollow the onions out.
Step 3
Chop your other veggies.
Step 4
Grind your meat.
Step 5
Mix it up.
Step 6
Stuff your onions.
Step 7
Fry bacon and make roux.
Step 8
Plate it.
Stuffed Onion Ingredients
1 large onion
3 eggs
1 cup breadcrumb
1 pound ground pork
Chopped parsley
Salt and pepper
1 cup pale ale
Flour and butter (for roux)
Bacon
Making it:
1. Cut the top of the onion and the bottom flat so it can stand up.
2. Hollow out onions, leaving ½ inch on each side. Send onion middles aside.
3. Chop onions, parsley, and thyme.
4. 4. Mix ground meat, eggs, bread crumbs, parsley and thyme.
5. Stuff onions, and then back them for 50 minutes in 375 degree oven.
6. Fry bacon and prepare roux.
7. Plate, drizzling the sauce on top and garnish with bacon.
