Speaker: Sugar glazed pecans are quick and easy snacks that you can prepare ahead of time and give your guests something festive to munch on over drinks. First, preheat the oven to 250 F. Next, separate four egg whites. Then coat two baking pans with nonstick spray. In a large bowl whisk the egg whites. Add 1/2 a cup of champagne or ginger ale for essence, two teaspoons of salt, two teaspoons of cinnamon, and one teaspoon of ground ginger.

Next, add two cups of sugar and eight cups of pecans. Fold until the nuts are evenly coated. Spread the mixture out onto the baking pans. Bake at 250 degrees for one to one-and-a-half hours, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking. Baking the nuts will help release the natural oils and enhance their flavor. The nuts are ready when the coating is absorbed and the pecans appear dry. If the nuts are still warm, separate them with two forks and it cooled use your fingers. You say pecans, I say pecans.
