Hey guys, how you doing? This Moses Laboy coming to you from Bartender Wars in FLN Network.
Today I'm going to make my cocktail that I'm calling Summer In New York City. It’s going to be made in a martini glass and I'm going to be using fresh grapes and I'm going to be using these beautiful red strawberries here, peach sorbet, lime juice, a little simple syrup.
You're going to want to grab about three grapes and one strawberry per cocktail. You now want to take this and you want to put it in your mixing glass. Well, I'm just going to take the top of the strawberry off put that in the mixing glass there. About a quarter of a quarter of an ounce of simple syrup for this then I'm going to add a little acidity and I'm going to use about the same, about a quarter of an ounce of lime juice.
Before I use my battler I want to add a little ice to my martini glass here and which I’m going to chill down while I muddle these fruits maybe, 12 little pushes just to get all that juice and sugar and lime going. About two ounces of this. Get rid of this ice in this martini glass because the glass is nice and chilled now. Grab some sorbet, add ice to our cocktail here put that in the bottle shaker. We're going to give that a nice little shake for about ten seconds to make sure this gets nice and cold.
Let's pour that right in there. Now we're going to top it off with sparkling wine and whala this is a Summer In New York City.
That’s delicious.
