Welcome back to PowerHouse Kickboxing. Today we're going to talk about Superman Punch. It's a very powerful technique in a sparring glove fight and it's an expected technique. So it would be very useful in your arsenal.
Now, we're going to talk how to build Superman punch. We're going to do it in the air. Try to hang in there and don't do it fast and feel the motion. You need to reload your shoulder, when knees go up, your shoulder back to load the punch.
So knees go up and then you punch it. I'll show slowly, slow in the air, and it's -- in the end. Kind of try to reach your target.
So what you want to do, you want to send your knee forward, so your target reacts on the knee. So either they like drop their hands down and you punch as I move away. Also you can use a Superman Punch. Let me do a tuck. So you're pulling -- it should be sudden motion. So they shouldn't expect it. So you punch, punch, punch, punch and suddenly you go with the knee and punch. So he is going on your knee and you have an opportunity to punch open target.
So you can go like one, two, three and punch. Try to press your opponent with your punches. So it can be knee, so as they kind of create a short term muscle memory. So once they react on your motion, same thing like you're doing like for example, couple of Roundhouse, two, three Roundhouses to the leg and they react. So you create like short muscle memory and then instead of low, you go up to the head. So sent it with the knee.
So you create like couple timing, show them like you're going with the knee and then you can do Superman Punch. So as they react on your knee, dropping their hands down or leaning forward and you can nail them at the same time. So this is the way, you're like one, two, three and go --
