Chris: Hi this Chris with watchmedia.com today I'm joined with John who works for Yamaha. He will he show something that I've heard bit about but release one of things that I think it has to be experience to be fully understood but John going to do his best to get the idea cross. What am I blabbing about right now?
John: You are kind of blabbing about another solution for home theater really I mean conventionally were here about surrounds on you. You have to five speakers and sub-woofer and all this wiring throughout the room. What we have developed is a digital sound projector that you can actually have complete surround sound from only one component designed to go with the flat panel television. You can mouth the last P on the wall. You can put on a stand and eliminates having to all have those extra speakers all the extra wiring within the room really.
Chris: So it is simply put the entire effect of a 5.1 surround sound audio system convinced into one single speaker. So how exactly does the speaker achieve matter of fact?
John: Well it show YSP over here has built in amplifiers of the small for instances 23 small speakers. The large one has 42 small speakers and each of those speakers has their own amplifier. So with having all of those different speaker drivers in there we can create five precise accurate beam of sound to reflex sound of the side and back walls to create full surround with one component.
Chris: It is the room is very important than what you sort of setting this up?
John: The room is important typically a room that has side walls and back walls so you get the reflection of the side and back walls that are ideal but even in open concept situations this creates such a wide dynamic front sound stage that even without walls it sounds very impressive as well too. The one thing that I want to make clear about too this is not design to replace a traditional audio video system. It’s designed to be another solution for the type of consumer that does not want to have all of that clutter in the room.
Chris: I'm impressed! Thank you very much.
John: Thank you very much.
