Hi! I'm Mike and this is Tina. We're with Head Over Heels Dance and Fitness. We are teaching you basic swing dancing and now we're going to take all of the moves that we've learned up till now, which is the Jitterbug moves, the Charleston moves and the Lindy Hop moves and we're going to piece together in a sequence so you can get an idea of how you can use all of those in the same swing dance. So you don't have to do this in our order, but this is good ways to start.
Okay, so we're going to start with the Jitterbug basic that we learned just in close position. Do a couple of these and do as many as we want. Now we're going to send her out. Now we've done two underarm turns. First was a left side underarm turn and we done a right side underarm turn and then we had to fold her back into close position, triple, triple, rock, step and we're going to back into dancing. So we did a little bit of rotation with it.
Then the next thing we did is going to a Charleston. Kick, kick, return, kick, rock step, kick, kick, return, kick and then we exit out of it. 3, 5, 6, 7, 8 and now we did a swingout in close position and all Lindy Hop moves.
So we can do many of these swingouts as we want. We'll do two here, tripe step and then we ended up with a swingout with a Lindy Hop circle, rock step and that is how you can put all of these moves together into a swing dance.
