Hi! I’m Bob Schmidt with Home Remodel Workshop. Do you have a switch in your house that you want left on because it’s hooked to a thermostat or a computer or a sensor or timer? We may have a simple solution to that.
This little dude here may be the thing that you’re looking for. I ran across this at the hardware store while I was looking for something else. It’s called a light switch lock.
Move your switch into the position that you wanted to remain locked, either on or off, whichever the case may be. Then remove the appropriate screw out of the switch plate cover, then take your switch lock, place it up underneath the switch and replace the screw. It’s as simple as that. Your switch will stay locked into position that you put it in.
