Audra Lowe: Looking your best doesn’t have to mean this close, how about fall looks
for your table tap too, Brooke and Jean went grocery shopping for the
perfect design and take a look.
Brooke Carlson: So normally when Jennifer take to me shopping she was to take me some
really fancy designer warehouse or we go to some person really nice
home. And we went to a grocery store I’d rather doing your grocery
shopping.
Jennifer Adams: Here hold this for me.
Brooke Carlson: I guess this is for fall decors and then what is this, this is not for soup.
Jennifer Adams: I’m having a dinner party tonight and as true designer fashion I forgot to
decorate my own house. So its thinking I can do it all here at the grocery
store so if you don’t mind I can teach you how to designing your house for
the fall and also get my grocery shopping at the same time.
Brooke Carlson: Well I would love that. I didn’t know we get it done at the grocery store
but let’s do it.
Jennifer Adams: I’ve got an extra 30 seconds and let me show you.
Brooke Carlson: Alright.
Jennifer Adams: One of the best ways to bring the fall in is impost the scented fall, the
moment people walking the door so scented candles and all this fall tones.
You have something spicy, something cinnamon, no vanilla, no tropical
just something really warm.
Brooke Carlson: Something that’s going to remind them of fall like a pumpkin smell.
Jennifer Adams: Yes, then the next way to take is to there taste so let’s get some candy and
some nuts.
Brooke Carlson: Okay.
Jennifer Adams: This is why the reasons I love this that you can always count on them, they
have a container too. You can fill this with nuts and some things that
people can taste so taste of fall is a really inexpensive way to decorate in
adds color and texture. I really like this because look at the tones in there
it’s all harvest so we may put something to your container here.
Brooke Carlson: Nice.
Jennifer Adams: And you can fill to top because in that looks really fresh, I get extras
because you’re guaranteed to eaten and snack on it. This is a good standby
that I always like, just a plain mix nuts because this is wide texture and
there is a lot of good flavors in there and most people like them and
they’re easy to find. Let’s pour at the container just like that.
Brooke Carlson: So we’ve mention the fruit section, what do you we want to grab from
here?
Jennifer Adams: All over the fruit and vegetables like the squash and the gourd look have
gorgeous these are and look at all the texture. Add shapes and sizes you
only need big shape and you will need small shapes. And there are
different things that I want to show you on the platter that you can do with
the things in a beautiful all in one tone is also a beautiful just the similar
different tones. The other that you want to pay attention to our figs and
apples, apples are better than peppers because they don’t rod as quickly as
the pepper and we have to put in the tray as quickly.
Brooke Carlson: So we’ve done of the shopping and then you go back home how do you
put it out together.
Jennifer Adams: Just stick right on top on your table or on top of the table runner. Start
with the large object so we anchor with three large objects and take some
leaves and some sticks that you find out that turning colors of the fall and
it place down like down to the table then you fill in with the smaller
objects like for instance the corns and small objects to just places more
objects all the way around and you can put this on your entry table, you
can put on the sofa table or right down the center of your table at your
centerpiece and it’s done. For a simple place setting is any a fall tone
placemat, put your regular china and take some falling leaves and put one
right in the center.
Brooke Carlson: Oh that’s beautiful.
Jennifer Adams: Put the pumpkin right on top of it and if you want to add a little more
accent you can put a little leaf to the side and then fill in around like right
on your placemat.
Brooke Carlson Of course you can put something to get in at the grocery store and should
never against you.
Jennifer Adams: I’ve uses fall back more than you know. Thanks Jean and back to you
guys.
Audra Lowe: And Jean says if you have a fall color table runner just place the vegetable
right on top of it and if you don’t have a runner place the vegetables on the
platter. To learn more on the store you can have to Jean’s blog at
