Okay, in the next part of the Progression, we'll just have two players near by, just step away for a moment, let me take your place, and we will work together and on the count of three, we'll do a block tackle with each other. Ready? One, two, three, good and we back up real quick and ready, one, two, three and back up real quick, just leave the ball, good and you can hear the good ones.
What you want to make sure is that your non-kicking foot is planted next to the ball, not way ahead of it, not way behind it. If it's way behind, like a lot of players tackle, you'll be reaching and you'll be in a very weak position. If you are way ahead, your opponent will just take the ball and keep going.
So, you want to make sure that you plant, like you are doing in inside of the foot push pass, ankle lock, toe up on the kicking leg, on the tackling leg and a good, secure base so that you can win the tackle. Ready Noel, couple of more, ready, one, two, three, excellent and we back up quick. Ready, one, two, three and you can hop right into it, ready, one, two, three, again it's very important to remember it's right foot to right foot or left foot to left foot.
