This point see where the alignment of the two hands. It is point just here or the dragon mouth point. It is called four in acupuncture. Those two points should be in left aligned. If you put your hands together, that should go. The thumb is here, should go into each other if it goes like this for instance and misses and your hands are out of alignment that both hand should be on the left align in front of you with those two point at this point. That is the first movement. I wait until I get to end of Grasping Sparrows Tail and then show you the whole thing in reverse mode. That is called “arn” or push to the left. You notice this whole set of movement is called Grasping Sparrows Tail and this was actually our original Tai Chi and successive master added to your Tai Chi. They will have there individual name as well and there individual applications.
Now, from here in that particular out breathe. This is where we bend the knees, your legs are straight not lot but just straight but they are not bent at that moment. From here on that out breathe you are going to bend your knees down, both knees like in the “chi gong” stands but you put your weight on your left leg. So, as your left hand is going to flexes comes down. You are going to place your weight down into your left leg. And as your hand gets down into about waist height you start to turn your body to the right hand corner the Northeast. Let your left hand slowly now changes into a yien shape during your right toss 45 degrees only to the right.
Now, you notice that my whole body is turn to the right. My head is turn to the right but my eyes are looking here towards the North. That is what you say I stay where I were. So, you are looking at the corner of your eyes. Both hands are directly over the top of each other. Both palms are directly over the top of each other at this point. I share that to you to the front just to show you what the arms look like but you turn to the corner. It will boost down and acquire open. The weight right now is on your left leg at this point you should be able to pick up that right foot out easily.
You should have to for instance to go push back and then pick it up. There should be no weight on that right leg. So, I do this, this two movements together. I am doing the first movement thing right to the detail but I am not willing in assistive movement simply because this is the epitome of Tai Chi the Grasping Sparrows Tail and you will understand, how I teach and how to learn from this tape as I do this first few movements and they will be known need to really go over such great detail because it is simply of course stop the tape and go back over and do it. In breathe, out, in, over to the left, slowly flexes your left hand down, exhale, going to the waist and that your right pose turn by 45 degrees to the right. The eyes are looking at the corner of the eyes onto the camera.
