Hi, this is Francisco Bujan from Vitalcoaching.com. We are talking about personal power, happiness and success. And the topic for this video is take risks, step out of your comfort zone.
This is a topic that I love. I want to give you a boost in this video and tell you a couple of things about how to take risks without hurting yourself and putting your life in danger of course and stepping out of your comfort zone and why it is so important for you.
When you are within your comfort zone, it’s a territory, it’s a territory that you already conquered. When you stay within that territory, within your comfort zone, what you are doing automatically is going in cycles. You go in circles. And everything that you do is stuff that you already did before.
Basically, if you’re very happy with your life, if you are very excited about it and if you’re already in a very high level of satisfaction and pleasure and happiness and power about your life then that’s great, you can keep on doing what you already did before and get the same results. This is going to make you even happier right?
Now, if you have the feeling that your life is going in circles or in cycles that you no longer enjoy or you need something new, it’s super important to do something new. And to do that you have to really step out beyond the comfort zone, beyond what you already explored and this means taking at least some form of risk okay?
So, what we are covering today in this video is simply looking at the process of stepping out of your comfort zone, why it can feel precisely uncomfortable, right. When you step out of your comfort zone you are simply going beyond your territory and doing something new. Basically, you break the cycle.
So, when you do that, you activate all sorts of new energies inside of you. You activate your survival skills. You activate your conquering power, you activate energy. You put yourself within the stream where there’s going to be a flow of new inspiration and energy coming in.
So, even if you don’t have the full picture of what’s going to happen for instance, you know, imagine that somebody invited you to go to a party and a feast or some sort of celebration and you are not sure of what’s going to happen there, well, take the risk. Go for it because this might be the opening door to something new that is going to happen. So, even if you don’t have an overview of what this is about, very often taking the risk and stepping out of your comfort zone is going to open new doors, new possibilities and allow you to come into new sources of energies, new sources of power and open new doors inside of you so it’s super important. It breaks fresh energies, it breaks the cycle, it brings new inspiration in your system, in your life.
So, you can do that within the context of business for instance. If you have a business and you’re looking for new ideas, very often it will mean taking new marketing steps, exploring new ways of marketing your business which is going to simply give a voice to yourselves or put you in touch with new customers or clients, this kind of things. So, within the context of business, stepping out of your comfort zone is super essential.
In terms of social life, again, it’s the same. Connect with people. Everytime you think the risk can connect with somebody new then eventually this strength in your social power allows you to bring in new and adjacent to your system.
Suppose that you are in the dating field or in the relationships, the same. I mean, if you are single and would like to meet somebody new, it’s not going to happen by you staying at home and hiding within your comfort zone of course. The way to actually connect and enhance your dating life, it’s really by going out there, showing you face and connecting with new people in one way or another whether it’s online, whether it’s in social events, parties, clubs. Whatever context you choose is fine as long as you take the risk and start connecting with new people.
With your physical body—if you’re not too happy with the way you feel about your body or your energy level or you want to get back in shape, then of course it’s going to require formula to be the—to gym. Take some form of new exercise practice. Do something which is going to activate the energy in your body.
So, all of these most of the times requires to step out of your comfort zone. Take at least some form of risk. So, I encourage to really—I inspire you in this video to go ahead and at least explore something which is beyond your comfort zone because every time you do, it’s actually a boost of energy, stimulates—rushing your system and it brings in new, fresh energies.
So, if you can now take a big step, very often you think, “Well, this is too challenging. It’s too much then stop with a very tiny little small step. Okay. Because small step is something that you can very often afford. So, just start with a small step. A little step is a bit too much right now.
