Welcome to the great outdoors. My name is Jay Nygaard, I’m the President and Owner of Great Outdoors Landscape, and this is Dylan Hicks, our Project Supervisor.
We’re here today in Westminster, Colorado at one of our recently completed landscape projects to talk to you about how to maintain and achieve a lush green disease resistant lawn. Some of the topics we’ll be covering today will include quarterly and weekly maintenance, do’s and don’ts on lawn care, tips for watering, fertilization, herbicide, pesticide and fungicide control, and also tips on new lawn care.
Some of the tools that you’ll be needing are applicators for fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, you’ll need a lawn mower and trimmer. And as with any power tools, referring to the owner’s manual for safety instructions is always advised. Don’t hesitate to ask a professional for help.
At Great Outdoors, we’ve been installing landscapes in Colorado for over ten years. We’re an accredited member of the Better Business Bureau and a member of the Associate of Landscape Contractors of Colorado. So with that, let’s get started with our first segment, weekly general maintenance.
