Female Speaker 1: Had one more thing, when I found out, that I was pregnant at first. I made a huge sacrifice by not eating chocolate.
Female Speaker 2: Why?
Female Speaker 1: Why it read in the literature that chocolate has caffeine in it and that could influences the baby or the fetus's development.
Female Speaker 2: It's true. things like coffee and chocolate has caffeine.
Female Speaker 1: So better to be safe. And there is some talk out there that high amounts of caffeine can cause a miscarriage. Some people think that, it's not proven, but it is a theory. So I thought, better to be safe. And at that time, I decided to cut chocolate out of my diet and be a good girl, for about five months and my husband kept saying, are you okay, are you sure you don't want chocolate and I said "no, I am making this sacrifice for my baby". It was hard, but it was rather the fifth or sixth month, I went for my regular check up with my doctor and she asked, if I had any questions. And I said, can I just have some chocolate. And he said, who told you can't have chocolate? I explained that I had read in the book, and he said, no everything in moderation. It's okay for you to have a little bit and I thought finally, I ran home and made a chocolate cake and ate it all. Not a little piece, but the whole thing. After that I had chocolates throughout my pregnancy.
Female Speaker 2: I am sure the baby was happy too.
Female Speaker 1: Yes, you are right.
Rho: Jalapenos, I love eating spicy food. People look at me, you are hurting your baby.
Cynthia: Milk, I couldn't get enough milk. I drink two gallons of milk everyday.
Aj: Popsicles. I am obsessed with popsicles. My freezers are full of them. When normally as I just ran out I have to get more today. But normally, it's full of them. I am crazy about coconut and I like strawberry. I am eating popsicles everyday. Its funny, we just had a snow storm and everybody out there is freezing cold and I am eating popsicles. They were looking at me like I was crazy.
Kristine: I love avocado, I eat them constantly.
Suzzane: I craved small tomatoes and ketch up.
Mel: OH, I would eat grapes. Anything with water inside watermelon, canelop, whatever I could get my hands on, apples even. Oh it was orgasmic.
Nicole: Eat well. It's interesting that people assume that if you're pregnant with twins, you have to eat three times as much, once for yourself and twice for the babies. But that is not the case. You eat what you feel is right. Eat enough for the three of you, but don't over eat. It's just like that old myth of eating for two. That just isn't true. Eat what's good for the baby and yourself.
Christie: I love milk. I drink milk all the time. I love milk, which is good that helps me, I drink a lot of milk. I have to admit, I will drink soda pop. I don't drink coffee or tea. I don't like them, but I will drink a pop, couple of cans, that's bad.
