Hi! My name is Katie Jackson and I'm here at Studio Bleu Dance Center in Ashburn, Virginia. Today, I'm going to show you how to tap dance and we're going to start off with the Shuffle Toe Heal Turn.
Now we're going to break it down. Shuffle, you're going to brush, brush which is going to make two sounds shuffle, pull, forward and back. So you're going this, you're going to shuffle forward, brush over, put your toe down, put your heel down, now you're heel with your left foot, toe with your right foot, toe with your left foot. So brush, brush, toe; heel, heel, toe, toe.
Now make sure when you shuffle, when you cross that you cross nice and over so you're kind of cheat in the turn around and it helping you get all the way around in the end, so shuffle, toe, heel, heel, toe, toe. Let's speed it up just a little bit. Shuffle, toe, heel, heel, toe, toe; shuffle, toe, heel, heel, toe, toe; shuffle, toe, heel, heel, toe, toe and let's speed it up couple of times.
Now I'll break it down one more time shuffle, toe, heel, heel, toe, toe; shuffle, toe, right heel, left heel, right toe, left toe. Let's speed it up just a little bit. Now we're going to speed it up all the way and that's how you do a shuffle toe heel turn. Now I'm going to go through everything that we've learned today in a sequence.
