Hello again, my name is Rodney Reynolds and welcome to another video review. Today, I am looking at the HIS X700Pro IceQ Turbo Video In, Video Out 256MB PCI-Express Video Card. Included in this package is an S-Video Cable, a mini DIN 2 RCA Cable, a Video In–Video Out cable. This end goes plugged into the video card and there are a number of connections right here. S-Video In and Out and composite Video In and Out and a HDTV Output cable. This end goes plugged into the video card and these ends go plugged right in to the HDTV.
And here we have a regular DVI to VGA adaptor, they also include a manual and software which includes applications and games and the video card. Now, let’s have a closer look at the HIS X700Pro Turbo, PCI Express Video Card. You can see right away that it has a rather large cooler. This cooler helps keep the core temperature down. And here is how it works. It takes in cool air right here then blows that air across a rather large aluminum heat sink pouring it out the back of the case. And by the way this fan is temperature controlled. Now, this is as I just mentioned the Turbo Version on the X700Pro.
The X700Pro standard version has lower core and memory speeds. This particular video card has a core speed of 460 I supposed 425 and the memory speed on this video card is 960 I supposed to 860. So, of course this version of the X700, the Turbo is going to be a little faster than the standard X700Pro PCI Express Video Card. But the Memory on this is GDDR3 memory and it has Ram Syncs on the front and the back of the video card. Right here is the standard analog VGA connection. This is the S-Video Connection and the DVI connection. And this video card also has dual display, that means you can connect two monitors and of course that translates into a heck of a lot of room to work. This video card supports the latest technologies such as Smart Shader HD, Smooth Vision HD, 3DC, HyperZ Video Shader HD and it does support the latest Direct X and Open GL. And the video card has eight pixel pipelines, six vertex engines and has a fill rate of 3,680 million texels per second. And by the way, it has 256MB of GDDR3 Memory. The memory bandwidth is 15.36GB per second. Now, have a look and a listen to this video card.
If you are in a market for a middle of the road PCI-Express video card, I would recommend checking this product out. It has two very important things, it’s affordable and performs very well and also looks great and it has the HDTV support. This means you can connect the card into any display that has a component in a perfect card if you are getting into an HDTV PC set-up. Over all this is a kick ass product.
