Tech Review - SilverStone Raven Gaming Mouse
Hello again, my name is Rodney Reynolds and welcome to another video review. Today I'm looking Silver Stone Raven Gaming Mouse. What's included with the silver stone raven gaming mouse is a user’s manual and the installation CD. As you can see this mouse is fairly large, so it might not fit smaller hands. It has bold styling and a high strength plastic with covered with fiber surface. There are 11 bodies including scroll wheels. On the top is the left click, right click, middle click and scroll wheel. As well as the left and right scroll buttons, also at the top is a small 128x32 organic LED which shows an emulated raven logo and the DPI settings.
On the right side, there are the page up and page down buttons. On the left side are the forward and back button as well as a DPI switch and pressing it changes the DIP from 400 all the way up to 3200. So the DPI can be changed on the fly to best suite your personal preferences. Also on the left is an illuminative flip 3D scroll wheel, which allows you to flip between windows. It works in both Windows Vista with Ero and Windows XP for quick file selection in Photoshop and quick tab switching in Firefox and Internet Explorer Browsers. At the bottom are Teflon feet, a normal and game switch button as well as a 3200 DIP Phillips PLN 2030 Twin Eye Laser with up to 50G acceleration and accuracy.
There is also a long six foot cable. Installation of this product is as simple as connecting it to the computers USB two port and installing the included software. The software allows five programing profiles with keyboard command. If you're in the market for a new gaming mouse that you want something with gold styling, this would definitely qualify but I just cannot get used to that flip 3D scroll wheel and the DPI switch being next to your thumb. First of all, it’s huge and every time I move the mouse around I touched the DPI switch, also I couldn’t get the software to work in Vista or Windows XP. I'm not quite sure what's going on there but I'm sure it’s a soft way issue that they can resolve, other than that though this is a great product, until the next time take care.
