Tech Review - Super Talent MEGA Screen MP3 Player
Hello again, I’m Rodney Reynolds and welcome to another video review. Today, I’m looking at the Super Talent MEGA Screen MP3 player. Included with this product is a user’s manual, CD, USB 2.0 cable, line-in audio cable, earphones and the MP3 player.
This product is currently available in black and white and comes in capacities ranging from 128 megabytes to two gigabytes. Also, you can see it’s extremely small, thin and lightweight. Also note that the casing is made from a smooth, shiny plastic.
At the front is a large 128 x 128 262K color organic LED that’s bright and easy to read. Here are all the buttons for operating the unit and these are precisions so it’s very comfortable to operate with your thumb. Here is the FM, hold, exit, record, play, stop, power on, off, previous, next, volume increase and volume decrease, and in the center is the menu button.
At the bottom is where the earphones or line-in we get connected. At the bottom right corner is where a neck strap can be attach and on the right side is a USB 2.0 port. These will provide fast data transfer and that’s important especially for the larger one gigabyte and two gigabyte models.
There are also two tiny holes. This one is for resetting the unit and this one is a microphone. There is also an additional place to put a next trap at the top of the unit. The player has six different menus, the mode menu, sound menu, play menu, display menu, time menu and the second menu.
Connecting the unit to a computer system is extremely simple, just plug it into the computer’s USB 2.0 port using the USB 2.0 cable, the operating system will recognize it as a removable drive then transfer the data as needed and by the way this will work for both PC and the Mac.
Also, in order to charge the rechargeable lithium battery it needs to be connected into the computer USB 2.0 port. This MP3 player is very small, lightweight, and compact. You can put it really anywhere. It has a nice, large, very easy to read LCD. The buttons are organized in such a way that you can really fly through the menus easily. Now, the player itself has an FM tuner. You can play back regular audio, record your voice, playback, also display pictures, pretty much does it all. The only complaint that I have with this player is storage capacity. You can only currently get it up to two gigabytes in size but considering what it offers and the price is a kick-ass product.
