Tech Review - Thermaltake Combo Cool DIY Series Heatsink - PIPE101
Hello again, my name is Rodney Reynolds and welcome to another video review. Today, I’m looking at the Thermaltake PIPE10 Heatsink. What’s included with this product are all the necessary things needed for installation on the AMD case 7k8 and the Intel-Pentium 4. They also include some thermo compound, screws for an optional 80 or 90 millimeter fan, an installation guide and the head sink.
As I just mentioned, this heat sink can be installed on the AMD case 7k8 and the Intel-Pentium 4, so it’s a very versatile product. Please keep in mind all that there’s no fan included. You will need to purchase either an 80 millimeter which gets some installed on the inside holes or a 90 millimeter on the outside right here. But remember, no fan included with this product.
The dimensions on this heat sink are 67X60.5X47 millimeters and it weighs in at 500 grams. Now, the first things you will notice when looking at this heat sink is the absolute density here of all of this copper fins. There are 67 of these and that’s a lot more than your average current heat sink. As a matter of a fact, all of this heat sink is solid copper and you can see here it has a nice fit smooth copper base that’s going to allow great contact between it and the CPU. Also, this heat sink has four heat pipes and that will further resist in dissipating the heat.
With the CPUs getting faster and faster, they’re getting hotter and hotter and that’s a real problem. A product like this offer a real solution; this heat sink has an overall excellent design it’s all copper, has lots of fans smooth solid bays and four heat pipes. This product is a kick ass.
